Monthly Coffee Morning from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on the second Saturday of every month.



Music at Beaulieu - Good music from classical to jazz in the wonderfully evocative setting of Beaulieu’s 800 year-old Abbey Church, once the refectory of the Cistercian Abbey of Beaulieu, with its splendid acoustics and in the heart of the New Forest National Park. This is Music at Beaulieu.

Tickets for all concerts except Glyndebourne can be bought online at http://www.musicatbeaulieu.org/. It is possible to buy tickets directly from the Ticket Office by calling 07770 859900 and on the day at the door if the concerts are not sold out and subject to availability.


See our website, Facebook page or ring the Box Office for updates. Accompanied children under 16 are free for all concerts except Glyndebourne (subject to availability/capacity).

Saturday 24 February

Music at Beaulieu: Bournemouth Sinfonietta Choir. This highly regarded choir has been praised for its imaginative and varied programming. Directed by David Gostick, their concert will include a new arrangement for solo violin and choir of Vaughan Williams’ ‘The Lark Ascending’ for which they will be joined by violinist Kate Turnbull.

Saturday 16 March

Music at Beaulieu: Mayflower Ensmble. Cellist Nicola Heinrich, clarinettist Alison Hughes and pianist Samantha Carrasco present a delightful programme of 19th and 20th century music, including works by Clara Schumann and the English composer Phyllis Tate.

Music at Beaulieu: Chamber Philharmonic Europe. Founded in 2006 in Germany, this superb chamber group draws on talented young musicians from all over Europe and is visiting Beaulieu as part of a UK tour. Their wide-ranging programme will include music by Vivaldi, Bach, Holst and Delius.

Music at Beaulieu: World of Song. The Lyndhurst based Voices of the Forest join forces with award winning harpist Rosie Gill to present ‘World of Song’, a colourful and joyous programme of music from around the world.

New Forest Romany Heritage Exhibition Reflecting 500 Years of History.

East Boldre Village Hall. Entry Free. 10am till 4pm each day.

Music at Beaulieu: Award Concert. This Is an opportunity for the winners and finalists of the Awards Competitions to perform in public.  It is an important occasion and an opportunity to hear the musicians of the future – many past winners have gone on to have professional careers in music.

Music at Beaulieu: King’s Men. World-renowned choral scholars from King’s College, Cambridge in their secular guise return once again to entertain us with wonderful close harmony sounds and a repertoire ranging from the Middle Ages to current chart hits.

Music at Beaulieu: Glyndebourne at Beaulieu. Our annual event in collaboration with Wessex Glyndebourne Association featuring operatic arias from four singers and their pianist from Glyndebourne. Tickets £30/£10. Call Box Office to buy tickets.


Saturday 17 August

Music at Beaulieu: Piccadilly Dance Orchestra. Band leader Michael Law returns with his world-famous orchestra to provide an evening of toe tapping and uplifting tunes from the golden age of popular music.


Saturday 7 September

Music at Beaulieu: Grace Francis – Piano. Grace attended the Yehudi Menuhin School before studying at the Royal College of Music where she won the Chappell Gold Medal – the highest award for a pianist. Her programme will feature Brahms’ epic Sonata No. 3 in F minor and music by Liszt and Rachmaninov.

Beaulieu Horticultural Society. 7:30pm Beaulieu Village Hall. A talk by Simon Goldsac on “Holme - the making of a new public garden“.


Saturday 26 October

Music at Beaulieu: Virtuoso Violin. Award winning violinist Rose Gosney is the soloist in the Sibelius Violin Concerto, accompanied by the Nova Foresta Classical Players conducted by Paul Ingram, in a programme that also includes Beethoven’s 7th Symphony.


Saturday 7 December

Music at Beaulieu: New Forest Children’s Choir and New Forest Chamber Choir. The multi award winning New Forest Children’s Choir was formed in 2008 by Alison Russell-Hayward. Singing with members of the New Forest Chamber Choir, they will once again be performing a wonderful programme of festive favourites.
